I recently read from UnionBank’s FAQ webpage that we can now deposit in UnionBank account via 7-eleven CLIQQ Kiosk. This is a great move since a new option is added to fund your bank account.
Aside from directly going to the bank to make a deposit and do an online banking transfer, there are more ways you can cash into your UnionBank account.
You can do it via ECPay Partners and PeraHubas which is listed on the UnionBank FAQ I linked above.
Depositing or putting funds in your UnionBank account is now made even better by visiting a 7-eleven store instead of going to the UnionBank branch.
I think this is more convenient since 7-eleven stores are more visible. They can be found in almost all of the corners of our street compare to UnionBank that has a lesser branch.
Therefore, it is even more accessible to visit a 7-eleven store cash into your UnionBank account.
Please take notethat UnionBank is now charging 20 pesos for cashing in transaction made via 7Eleven. The 20 pesos will be deducted from the amount you cashed in.
Moreover, the maximum amount you can cash in is 10,000 (ten thousand) per transaction.
To get a first-hand experience on how I can deposit in UnionBank Account via 7-eleven, I went to the nearest 7-eleven convenience store to try to deposit in UnionBank Account via 7-eleven’s CLIQQ Kiosk.
Based on my experienced, I prepared the guide below with pictures of each step to somehow help those who are not really familiar with how to transact using the 7-11 CLIQQ Kiosk.
Seven (7) Easy Steps to Deposit in UnionBank Account via 7-eleven (7-11) CLIQQ Kiosk
1. First, look for the CLIQQ Kiosk. Then, on the main menu, tap the “E-MONEY”
2. Tap the “UNIONBANK” from the selections of available E-MONEY. Then, tap “NEXT”.
3. Tap the UnionBank logo to proceed.
4. Enter your 12 Digit Account number in UnionBank account, your account name, and the amount to deposit
5. Verify all the information you provided from the previous step.
6. Enter your mobile number. You will receive a notification on this number when the deposit is successful.
7. Print the CLIQQ rewards barcode. You will present this to the counter to pay for the amount.
Finally, you will need to present the slip for payment to the cashier for them to scan. Pay for the amount you put in the payment slip.
After that, you should be able to receive a text message to the mobile number registered to your UnionBank account stating the successful deposit.
Based on my experience, the crediting of funds is between one to five minutes.
The confirmation message should be like this:
Your account ending in **** has been successfully credited with PHP2200 via 711BRANCHNAME on February 19, 2021 12:29 PM. Cash In Ref. No. UB******
For precautionary measures, please make sure to check your account via UB online app to confirm that you already got your funds.
One more note, as mentioned in the first part of this article, there will be a deduction of 20 pesos for the transaction. Say, for example, you deposited 2200 pesos, the amount that will be credited to your account is 2180 pesos.
